anderson goes with a straightforward design when building this widowmaker bat: 1-piece & all-alloy. they had one item on the agenda with this new bbcor bat and that was to make one that would pulverize baseballs. and to allow the bat to better do that, they have built it with some considerable end-load on the barrel section of the bat. due to the extra weight on the barrel, it is going to take some strength and bat speed to whip this bat through the hitting zone. because of that, we would recommend it most for power hitters launching baseballs deep into the power alleys and beyond. if you are a contact hitter and rely on a lightweight bat that is easy to control, this might not be the selection of bat for you.
