To start, virtual testing techniques helped us identify the optimal thickness for every part of the helmet exterior, so it gives you more protection where you need it without adding extra weight to your head. The use of viscoelastic foam — similar to the material found in high-impact football helmets — is also used in differing densities throughout the helmet for added coverage.
